Mazda to Begin Production in Mexico Market

After six years of successful sales in Mexico, Mazda Motor Corp. has decided to open up a facility in Salamanca, Guanajuato. Called Mazda Motor Manufacturing de Mexico, the new plant is a joint venture between the Japanese automaker and Sumitomo Corp. Mazda and TomTom will team together for the 2012 model year. TomTom is adding to the MAZDA3 and MAZDA5 models with complimentary nav devices and futuristic traffic tech.
