What’s New with the 2018 Mazda3?

2018 Mazda3 4-Door and 2018 Mazda3 5-Door

What’s new? More standard features. The 2018 Mazda3 is better than ever as what was once optional or limited to upper level trims, such as advanced safety features and G-Vectoring Control technology, now comes standard on every trim level.

Available as either a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback, the 2018 Mazda3 is available in three body trims: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Unlike previous model years, the Sport trim now includes forward collision warning and mitigation systems, as well as a 2.0-liter SKYACTIVE-G engine, and a 7-inch Mazda Connect infotainment screen.

The mid-level Touring trim carries a 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G engine producing 184 horsepower, as well as advanced safety features, including: Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and rain-sensing wipers.

At the top of the line is the Grand Touring trim, which comes standard with perforated leather seating surfaces with heated front seats, full-color Active Driving Display head-up unit and LED fog lights, self-leveling bi-LED headlights, LED combination tail lights and LED daytime running lights.

When it comes to drive performance the addition of G-Vectoring Control on all trims is an incredible addition. Because even if a sporty drive isn’t what you look for in a new car, the responsiveness of G-Vectoring Control technology breeds confidence in emergency situations. A Mazda-exclusive technology, G-Vectoring Control improves steering, stability, and as a result increases peace of mind.
